Book Recommendations

I get asked to recommend books from time to time, so I figured I would start by recommending the books I’ve read so far this year:

And, here’s my reading list from last year. It’s not as many as I’ve read in even half of the time because it took me almost 6 months to read Ulysses. I still don’t know what that book is about.

you need some diversity in your reading list. Lessons can be learned in a myriad of ways.

    - East of Eden, Steinbeck
    - Don Quixote, Cervantes (still funny & timely after 400 years)
    - Where the Sidewalk Ends, Silverstein

about Ulysses; If you read some 700 pages you would somehow know “what this book is about”, otherwise was it a decisive move on your part to “finish” this book. what made you follow thru? i myself attempted many times, yet..
