First time I've visited for a while and the site looks great. More multi-media please - how about something on comparitive (pre)historical linguistics - I think that relates to man and his symbols, or at least to the same mental mechanisms. Anyone interested in this should begin by taking a look at basic nouns - sun, moon, water, etc. Does anyone know of any linguistic databases which cover this topic?
