The Physics of Extraterrestrial Civilizations
The late Carl Sagan once asked this question, “What does it mean for a civilization to be a million years old? We have had radio telescopes and spaceships for a few decades; our technical civilization is a few hundred years old… an advanced civilization millions of years old is as much beyond us as we are beyond a bush baby or a macaque.”

The whole field is canon fodder for Science Fiction writers, if we lose the spirit to dream about fairies and elves then surely great metaphysical civilisations will feed our dreamscape…
I just wish we would be contacted, be allowed to enter into some great galactice hegemony… I want them to be open, good, honest and spiritual… I dont want some planet hopping parasites who destroy us…
